adidas today unveils River Plate’s new home and away kits, which the club will begin using at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The home shirt features the classic red stripe and the 3 adidas stripes on the sleeves horizontally, an application that the brand makes only for River in an exceptional way, in order to recall the iconic Millonario shirts that had that particular characteristic both in the ’90s with the three-time championship and in 2015, when he was crowned Champion of America. The outfit is completed with black shorts and white and red socks.

For its part, the away shirt has an unprecedented design with vertical poles in red and black, taking inspiration from the iconic hot air balloon that River Plate used in the celebrations of the 1975 Metropolitan Championship. The kit commemorating the 50th anniversary of that title is completed with red shorts and black and red socks.
Away Kit
The audiovisual and photographic material of the campaign has the presence of the soccer players Francisca Altgelt and Annika Paz and the players Enzo Pérez, Franco Mastantuono, Maximiliano Meza, Giuliano Galoppo, Facundo Colidio, Marcos Acuña, Ignacio Fernández, Ian Subiabre, Lucas Martínez Quarta and Gonzalo Martínez. Enzo Francescoli and Ubaldo Fillol also participated in the production.
The professional version of the shirt incorporates materials with adidas technology HEAT.RDY, designed for excellent comfort and performance of the players during the match. For its part, the AERO READY version of shirt provides the necessary comfort through its absorption technology. Both versions are made with 100% recycled materials.
